This page is here to keep you informed as to what CCCRC is doing in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how we can help you.

CCCRC wants to thank you for your initial interest and/or commitment to partner with us to meet your counseling needs! Your wellbeing and safety are our top priority, and we are all here for you! It is important to us that we offer ways for you to continue your counseling treatment with your therapist.

As many know by now, the coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as the cold/flue rates, are at an all-time high. And it is making strongly suggested that we all stay indoors. We all have good reason to be especially conscious of not spreading germs. So, if you have any cold or flu symptoms, we ask you to stay at home and get yourself well rather than come into the office – and for several days after your symptoms subside. Staying away from our regular routines will be tough for all of us, but this is one of those times when we need to give ourselves a break to heal and remain healthy for everyone.

We think that therapists can help, and we believe that therapists who are equipped with the ability to use telehealth can help even more! We are now able to provide you with telehealth services on multiple platforms, including our website. To set up an appointment, please call 662-338-1880

We want to encourage you to be alert, but not anxious through these unique times. While these are uncertain, frustrating, and concerning times we are working hard to ensure we can support your counseling needs in any way possible!

This page is here to keep you informed as to what CCCRC is doing in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how we can help you.

CCCRC COVID-19 Policies and Procedures (May 17, 2020)

The staff of CCCRC has been given permission by the Executive Director to choose individually whether they will continue telehealth sessions or offer face-to-face services under updated strict office policies regarding COVID-19 health and safety procedures. CCCRC also wants to offer choices to you regarding how to move forward to support your mental health care needs or the needs of your child. We want to offer you and your family as many options as we can so that you can make the best choice for your circumstances while also honoring the preferences of our staff. Thus, we have not returned to business as usual but we are praying, hoping and making preparations to do so as soon as possible.

We want to assure you that CCCRC is and will continue to follow national, state, and local government directives. If your therapist has resumed face-to-face services and if you wish to resume sessions in person, the following procedures must be met and adhered to. Failure to cooperate with these procedures will forfeit your face-to-face session immediately and your appointment will be rescheduled for a telehealth session. Our office has been professionally cleaned, sanitized and disinfected with chemicals specifically deemed to combat COVID-19.

We are all in this together, and we need your help too! If you are sick, please take care and stay home. You will not be charged a cancellation fee if you need to cancel due to illness.

We will clean, sanitize and disinfect HOURLY all frequently touched surfaces, offices, and common areas.

We ask that you wait in your car rather than the lobby. (We will offer additional office space as an extra waiting area if necessary.)

Your therapist will text you when he/she is ready for your session. The therapist will instruct you as to which door to enter/exit the building.

Staff and clients must maintain a minimum 6 foot physical distance from each other.

No physical contact such as handshakes, hugs, high fives or other contact.

All staff and clients' temperature will be taken upon entry to the office. Anyone whose temp is 99.0 or above will not be seen in the office.

Anyone with a noticeable cough, sneezing, wheezing or other COVID-19 symptom will not be seen in the office.

Anyone who has knowingly exposed to COVID-19 or who has tested positive for it will not be seen in the office. (This does NOT apply to healthcare

workers who have been working with approved medical/safety gear.)

All staff and clients will be asked to wash their hands upon entering/exiting the office. Anti-bacterial soap, sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are provided.

Masks are not mandatory but staff will wear a mask if preferred by the therapist or if the client prefers that masks are worn in session.

Therapists will document in each case note that safety procedures have been followed but actual temperatures WILL NOT be documented.

PLAY THERAPY Due to contact with toys and games that some of the younger people we work with utilize as part of Play Therapy, we have adopted the following additional sanitization procedures for our office:

1. Sanitizing or washing hands before entering the office and upon exiting

2. Collecting all items touched during a session and sanitizing them between sessions (example toys)

3. The use of handouts and paper activities rather than the use of toys

For these reasons, our sessions may be slightly shortened from our regular time to make sure that appropriate sanitization has occurred between appointments.

We are all in this together, and we need your help too! If you are sick, please take care and stay home. In regard to travel, every day there are new guidelines on how to address those who have been traveling either abroad or within the United States. Please let us know if you have traveled out of the country or out of state and we can discuss your circumstances on an individual basis. Canceling in-person or telehealth appointments because you are not feeling well is OK! YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED A CANCELLATION FEE IF YOU NEED TO RESCHEDULE DUE TO ILLNESS.

We want you to take care of yourself; additionally, if your therapist is not feeling well for any reason, all in-person sessions will be cancelled immediately.

For those that are interested in resuming face-to-face sessions or continuing telehealth services, please call 662-338-1880 or contact your therapist. There are a few forms to fill out and conversations to have, including technical and financial instructions. If you have scheduled an in-person appointment with your therapist and want to change your appointment to a telehealth, please call or text our office at 662-338-1880 or contact your therapist.

If you cannot attend your in-person appointment, please cancel as soon as possible.

Although it takes some creativity to serve the mental health needs of children online, we have prepared many therapeutic interventions that can be used with typical items found in nearly every home! AND the good news is that most children are more familiar with technology than adults in their lives. Lastly, teamwork and flexibility are incredibly essential to help assess every step of the way what is working and what may need to be altered.

Please let us know what questions you have and what you need from us to support you and your family’s mental health in these uncertain times.

BLESSINGS,

Wendie Woods, Executive Director

and the staff and therapists of CCCRC

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.

In God, whose word I praise, in God, I trust and am not afraid.”

Psalm 56:3-4

CCCRC is placing our trust in God and praising Him for the many ways He is providing for and comforting people in this complex time. We value our clients’ and our staff’s safety and are striving every day to find ways to improve our services in this unique time.

As you know, we are in a state of emergency due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We understand this can be a stressful and anxious time for all individuals; your well-being is our priority. As you care for your physical health, we believe that caring for your mental health is crucial. Seeking counsel and continuing your therapeutic journey with your therapist is essential to your overall health and wellness.

After the CDC guideline changes, the President’s and the Governor’s addresses, we are making some adjustments as to how we will be providing services to you. Please read carefully about the following changes in our services:

As of right now, we recommend that counseling sessions be provided through telehealth options ; however, we will see clients in office by appointment only if clients adhere to our COVID-19 policy.

Telehealth has been made available after Governor Tate Reeves issued a proclamation on 3-14-2020, allowing mental health services to be performed via telehealth while under the state of emergency. We appreciate your patience while we adjust to this new procedure. If you would like a copy of this proclamation, we will be happy to provide you with one upon your request.

Our telehealth services starter 3-17-2020. Telehealth services offered include online video conferencing via our website, Facetime, Skype, and Zoom meetings (preferred).

You can set up an appointment by calling or texting 662-338-1880, calling or texting your therapist, or through our website www.ChristianChanges.com

If you are a new client needing services, please call our office at 662-338-1880 to be assigned a counselor and emailed paperwork. Intake sessions may be required to meet in office.

If you are in a state of crisis, please call 911 immediately.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at 662-338-1880 or 662-617-2686 (after hours).

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unique time.
