Each one of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,
as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
1 Peter 4:10
As client-centered, solution-focused, Christian therapists, our treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve problems, while also learning to identify and eliminate negative thoughts, patterns, or behaviors. With genuine sensitivity and compassion, we help clients explore their strengths, abilities, and resources to find personalized solutions to a wide variety of life challenges and psychological issues.
Blending Christian, conventional, and modern approaches (such as pet and play therapy), we draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client and their family. We work individually with each person to help him or her build upon their strengths to identify and achieve life goals, to improve family and work relationships, and to fully recognize their purpose and position in Christ.
Child and Youth Services
Play Therapy is a powerful tool for addressing cognitive, behavioral, and emotional challenges. Licensed and/or Registered professionals therapeutically use play to help clients better process their experiences and develop more effective strategies for managing their world.
Research suggests Play Therapy is an effective mental health approach, regardless of age, gender, or nature of the problem, and works best when a parent, family member, or caretaker is actively involved in the treatment process.
